Grievance Software Features
Grievance
- Entry of grievance data mirrors standard state form RP-524 (Complaint on Real Property Assessment)
- Time of grievance information (such as tentative value and owner information) automatically transfers from the main parcel when a grievance is added. At this time, a representative can be selected from a user entered list which will automatically fill in all the petitioner information
- Allows for recording of more than one category of complaint per grievance (i.e. assessment and exemption). Separate results can be recorded for each complaint on a grievance
- Results can be entered to indicate a grievance was stipulated, dismissed, denied or granted
- If the grievance was denied or dismissed, a denial reason can be selected from a user-created list of denial types
- If the grievance was stipulated or granted, the granted values can be entered and the new assessed values or exemption amounts can be automatically transferred to the parcel
- The assessed value will be automatically frozen when applicable
- For any result, the votes of the board members can be recorded by name. These names can be entered into the system by the user
- Scanned documents, Microsoft Word documents and Excel spreadsheets can be directly linked to an individual grievance
- Notice of Determination, Request for Information, and other letters can be customized and automatically printed through Microsoft Word
- Reports can print grievance information with or without results, audit information of all grievance data entered, and a list of decisions by board member
- Grievance information including results can be extracted to Excel
- Unlimited number of years of grievance information – includes ability to enter prior grievances
- Integrates fully with the Property Assessment System or works as a standalone package
